Can I buy 88Herbs products in the USA? What about International?

Yes. We have thousands of happy US customers. And we have thousands of happy customers in Europe and all over the world, including Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and Africa. And of course Canada! (Our company is located in Canada)

How fast is the shipping?

Fast. We already have our 88Herbs products in warehouses in the USA, in Canada, and in Europe. So if you order from the US, from Canada, from the UK, or anywhere else in Europe, our products are already there – so they don’t need to pass customs or anything. Our US, Canadian, and European customers get their orders to their doors within a few days. Once your order comes into our system, it is automatically shipped to your home. If you order from another country like Australia or New Zealand (or any other country in the world) then we ship it out immediately using Canada Post Air Mail. In those cases it takes about 7-10 days to get to your country, and then sometimes a little longer in the local customs. We do this often and it’s a safe and secure system.

How much are your products in US Dollars and other foreign currencies?

Our prices are listed in CAD (Canadian Dollars) but don’t worry. We will automatically convert the prices you pay into USD or any currency in the world you use. The exchange rates are very fair. A lot of US customers enjoy the strong US dollar. So if a product costs $20 Canadian dollars for example, you will only pay about 15 bucks USD. You just pay online using Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Paypal, or any of our online options, and the conversion to your currency happens automatically.

Why are 88Herbs products better than the competition?

The whole purpose of 88Herbs is to make the highest possible quality of supplements possible. We source the best ingredients in the world, we don’t use any fillers or flow agents, and we manufacture our products in an outstanding GMP facility. We also test our ingredients and final products for purity using third party labs – So you can be sure you are getting what it says on the label.

How do you source your ingredients? Why are they better than others?

The quality of ingredients varies widely between brands, and it makes a huge difference in the effectiveness of products. We source every ingredient in every product ourselves. We look for the highest concentrations of active ingredients, we look for organic and non-GMO wherever possible, we look for pharmaceutical grade purity amino acids, and we look for the most absorbable forms of any vitamins we use. We also pay close attention to the strain of the herb, where it is grown, ensure no chemical pesticides are used, and we make sure the final product has the lowest amount of impurities possible. We demand that every ingredient we use is extremely pure and potent. We want to make you feel great from using our products

Where are your products made?

Our ingredients come from all over the world, but our finished products are manufactured in British Columbia – Canada. Canada is a great place for health supplement manufacturing because Canada has some of the highest quality standards in the world for natural health products. 88Herbs makes sure we follow and exceed these regulations and high standards in all of our products.

Are your products GMP?

Yes. GMP means “Good Manufacturing Practice” and it is a certification given to factories that reach a certain level of quality. We are extremely particular with our manufacturing quality and we searched very hard to use the cleanest manufacturing facility with the strictest standards and highest ethics. You can rest assured that 88Herbs products are made with our premium quality ingredients inside pure vegetarian capsules, Vcaps®, with no fillers added. We use zero magnesium stearate in any of our products as well.

Do your products contain Soy or Gluten?

No. 88Herbs products are all soy free and gluten free. They are perfect for a vegetarian and vegan diet.

Do your products contain magnesium stearate?

No. All of our products have zero magnesium stearate. None.

What is magnesium stearate anyway?

Magnesium stearate is a “flow agent”. This means that it lubricates the machines and makes the manufacturing process easier. We use zero magnesium stearate because we believe it to be potentially harmful, so we choose not to use it. There is no health reason to want it, and it only benefits the manufacturer. So we strongly prefer to give you the cleanest products possible rather than worry about how easily our own machines run.

Do your products contain any fillers?

No. We make the purest products possible. Our products are made just from our premium ingredients inside a vegetarian capsule. That’s it. We don’t add any fillers, flow agents, or artificial colors or chemicals at all. The only partial exception is with our natural source 5 HTP single. In our 5 HTP single, we use a little bit of microcrystalline cellulose, which is simply to make the dose consistent from capsule to capsule. Microcrystalline cellulose is inert and doesn’t absorb into the body and is generally very safe. Our other products contain none whatsoever and we never use magnesium stearate in any product.

What is hypromellose?

We use premium grade “Vcaps®”, which are outstanding vegetarian capsules. The material of the veggie capsule itself is “hypromellose”. So that is why you see it on the list of ingredients on the back of the bottle. Since it is the capsule itself, it is therefore clearly not a “filler”. Vcaps® (hypromellose) is completely safe and we’re proud to use this excellent vegetarian and vegan certified capsule which is also certified non-GMO, organic, no soy, gluten-free, KO Kosher, OU Halal, dairy free, and preservative free.

I have trouble swallowing pills, can I pull apart the capsules and empty the contents into a drink or food?

Yes. Vcaps® are easy to pull apart. You can empty the powder into a drink or food and consume it that way.
I will note that we use the smallest Vcaps® we can for each product. They are soft and easy to swallow, and completely different from hard “horse pills” which are large and get stuck in the throat. So these are easy to swallow if that is a concern.

With that said, a friendly word of caution that some of the supplements, while safe and healthy, don’t all have the greatest taste. Some people don’t mind, but I’d recommend trying to swallow the small and soft capsules first, before emptying into a drink or food. But it’s definitely safe to do so and it’s your choice.
