Supplements for Parkinson’s – L-Theanine, Caffeine, Ashwagandha

We recently came across some important information we want to share about treating the symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease (PD) using natural supplements.

We generally sell our L-Theanine and Ashwagandha to people who use them for relaxation, reducing anxiety, reducing stress, and improving their moods and sleep.

However a growing number of customers have been telling us that our L-Theanine is really helping them with their Parkinson’s symptoms, specifically their shaking and their problems with REM sleep.

We weren’t aware of these positive results for PD so we looked into the science. There is a study which concluded that L-Theanine directly provided neuroprotection against PD related neurotoxins, and furthermore that L-Theanine may be useful in preventing and controlling the symptoms of Parkinson’s.

So between the science and the positive results we’ve been hearing from customers, we wanted to share this news with anyone who’s searching alternative therapies and natural ways to possibly prevent, slow down, or reverse Parkinson’s for themselves or their loved ones.

Since this information is not really in the mainstream, we don’t want to directly market this supplement for that purpose, but we do feel an obligation to share this with people in case it’s something they’d like to look into for themselves.

Caffeine is another “supplement” which is showing some therapeutic benefits for people with PD. Have a look at this study to learn more.

Caffeine and L-Theanine together is a well known synergistic blend, so it may be something worth looking into for PD, since both supplements individually are showing promise.

Lastly, ashwagandha has shown promise in this study for people with Parkinson’s (as well as Alzheimer’s and Huntington’s). Many of our customers take L Theanine and Ashwaganda together (but for a wide variety of different reasons).
